Digiscopy - 12
What follows are the first digiscoped pictures I took with the Nikon CP 8400, an 8MP compact digital camera.  The pictures were taken at Huntley Meadows Park, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA.

The sky was overcast and the weather was relatively cold (@40 degrees F).  These pix were taken at about 1/30th of a second, f/4.5.  I believe, with this first try, that the 8400 is an excellent camera for digiscoping.  As soon as weather permits, I'll put it to a more stringent test.
The overcast day and a view of Dr. Cheang's UDC adapter on the Swarovski scope.
For anyone who can check, the white balance was incorrectly set for "manual white balance," hence the yellowish cast.  The correct setting would be "cloudy," or maybe "Auto White Balance" would have worked in this situation.
Here is a comparison of the Great Blue Heron's head through the scope and the same Heron without the scope at the camera's 24mm wide angle setting from the same spot.
